Certain 2026 Jeep Wrangler Vehicles Recalled Over Insufficient Child Seat Tether Welds

A handful of 2026 model year Jeep Wrangler vehicles are being recalled for a safety issue concerning the second-row tether anchors. Defective welds may result in substandard restraining capabilities, therefore increasing the risk of injury. All of the affected 4x4ers feature 60/40 rear folding seats, with production for said off-road vehicles ranging from October 25, 2025, through February 13, 2026.
