Vinfast VF MPV 7: First Advertisement Video
This ad film has a duration of 1 minute and talks about the room offered by the VF MPV 7. It starts by showing a large family getting ready for a vacation or road trip. We can see a couple, their parents and three children. To highlight the space offered by the MPV 7, the main character, says on camera ‘ They (the family members) all have separate rooms, but stay together.’ He is actually talking about the EV- about how it offers ample room for everyone to sit comfortably.

Later in the video, we see the boy giving us a video tour of the three rows of seats and the room on offer there, along with exaggerated descriptions. We see him refer to these as ‘playroom’, ‘palace’, ‘dressing room’, and even ‘lounge room’ for the third row! While the film manages to communicate that the vehicle has a spacious cabin, the choice of words and narrative can get at least some bored.
That said, the ad film shows the boot space- 126 litres with all seats in use, colours and trims used inside and overall seating position. It even shows some of the features like the dedicated AC controls for the third row with selectable fan speeds and the 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. We also get to see the exterior design in detail. The MPV 7 rides on 19-inch alloy wheels with 235/50 tyres.
More About The VF MPV 7

The MPV 7 has a boxy design. Some of its styling cues resemble those of the VF6 and VF7. Key design highlights include LED projector headlights, closed-off grille section, a Chrome strip that runs along the windowline, roof-mounted spoiler, shark-fin antenna, connected LED tail lamps, and a thin body cladding,
Two interior colour options can be opted for- dual-tone black and brown and an all-Black scheme. All seats come with adjustable headrests and 3-point seatbelts. They also feature leatherette upholstery and a theatre-like positioning. Vinfast claims that the third-row of the MPV 7 offers more room than what’s offered by its rivals. Talking of rivals, this electric MPV competes primarily with the Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9S and the more-expensive BYD eMax7.

The VF MPV 7 isn’t one of those tech-heavy EVs. It comes with features like a 10.1-inch central touchscreen which also acts as the driver’s display and the display for the climate control unit, tilt- and telescopic adjustments for the three-spoke steering wheel, one-touch up/down function for all power windows, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), wireless charging bay, rear parking camera, electronic parking brake, automatic climate control, and a few other features.
Notably, it lacks ventilation function for the front seats, power adjustment for the driver’s seat, sunroof (rivals come with panoramic sunroofs), 360-degree camera, and even ADAS.

The VF MPV 7 comes with a 60.13 kWh battery pack that has a ARAI-claimed range of 517km per charge. The front-axle-mounted electric motor makes 204hp and 280Nm. This e-MPV is claimed to do the 0-100kph sprint in under 9 seconds, and comes with selectable drive modes. The battery pack can support up to 80kW charging speeds on DC chargers. 10-70 percent replenishment can be done in 30 minutes.
Vinfast is offering various benefits to MPV 7 owners. Exchange an internal combustion car for one and you will get Rs 2 lakh incentive. The carmaker has also committed to offer 75 percent buyback value on this product, along with giving 3-year free maintenance, 7-year vehicle warranty, 3 years of free charging at V-Green chargers, and a 10-year battery warranty.
