The Vietnamese electric carmaker VinFast has finally launched the all-new VF MPV 7 in India. This 7-seater electric MPV has been launched with a price tag of Rs 24.49 lakh. The deliveries of the VF MPV 7 will commence in the coming weeks. The VF MPV 7 is the third electric offering from the brand in India and boasts the signature VinFast styling and a feature-loaded cabin.

Dimensions and design
First off, we will talk about the dimensions of the new VinFast VF MPV 7. It measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and its height is 1,734 mm. As for the wheelbase, it measures 2,840 mm. When compared to the Kia Carens Clavis EV, the VF MPV 7 is 190 mm longer, 72 mm wider, and offers a 60 mm longer wheelbase. All of these translate to a bigger and more comfortable cabin.
As for the design, the VF MPV 7 boasts a futuristic and minimalistic design on the outside. At the front, it features a similar fascia as its siblings, the VF6 and VF7. Its main highlights include the signature V-shaped LED DRLs, which span from one end to the other. However, they do not connect in the middle. Instead, they end below the VinFast “V” logo in the middle.
Apart from it, the main LED projector headlights have been set on the ends of the bumper in a vertical manner. Being an EV, the VF MPV 7 gets a clean, blanked-off grille and a large air dam on the lower part of the bumper, which also gets black cladding to make sure that it can take the abuse of bad Indian roads.
Moving to the profile, the VF MPV 7 features a strong shoulder line, muscular lower body lines, large windows with a tall window line, and pull-type door handles. This MPV also boasts a set of 19-inch alloy wheels and subtle claddings on the side, which add to the premium appearance.
As for the rear end, the VinFast EV MPV features a connected LED taillight, which looks similar to the LED DRL on the front. There are faux air vents on either end of the rear bumper, and also the lower portion gets large cladding. Other notable highlights include an upright tailgate with VinFast lettering, rear window wiper, washer and defogger setup, along with an integrated roof spoiler.
Interior design and features
Like the exterior, VinFast has designed the interior of the VF MPV 7 to be as minimalistic and futuristic as possible. On the inside, this MPV comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is a free-standing unit in the middle. It also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ViVi AI-powered personal assistant, EPB, PM 2.5 filtration, bezel-less IRVM, and a leatherette armrest with smart storage.
The MPV also features a lift-up door latch, dual-tone upholstery, a 6-way powered and adjustable driver seat, and soft-touch door pads. It also gets a 126-litre boot space, which can be increased to 1,260 litres by folding the rear seats.
The VF MPV 7 also features the most comfortable third-row seating. Other notable highlights include Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes, a gear selector behind the unique D-cut steering wheel, next-generation Ethernet-based electrical architecture, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist, emergency stop signal, brake assist, and all four wheels get disc brakes.
Powertrain options
Powering the VinFast VF MPV 7 is a front-wheel-mounted electric motor capable of producing 204 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. As for the battery pack, it gets a 60.13 kWh battery pack offering a range of 517 km on a single full charge. 10 percent to 70 percent will only take 30 minutes using a DC fast charger.
It also gets a comprehensive 3-year free maintenance, 7 years vehcile warranty, 10-year battery warranty, 5-year suspension warranty, 7-year paint warranty and 7-year road side assistance.
