A lot of people who are not from a privileged household think that they cannot make it big because they don't have enough opportunities. However, there are a lot of people who, despite living in broken houses and barely having money to afford essentials, make it big. Recently, one such entrepreneur named Soam Jena, who used to live in a poor-condition home in Odisha, has managed to buy himself a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 RS worth Rs 5 crore.
Entrepreneur buys his dream car Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The delivery video of this hardworking entrepreneur, Soam Jena, buying and taking delivery of his Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been shared on YouTube on his channel. It starts off with the vlogger and entrepreneur showing his Racing Yellow Porsche 911 GT3 RS parked in his garage. He then explains that although he lives in Dubai, he bought this particular supercar in Europe and had it delivered to his home.
As for the reason behind this move, he mentions that buying a Porsche 911 GT3 RS from the dealership is a very difficult game. He continues and highlights that as the 911 GT3 RS is a limited-production, track-spec hardcore supercar, its allocations are extremely limited. This means that if a person has not bought around 10 to 15 Porsches from a particular dealership and does not have a relationship with the dealership, they never become eligible to buy the limited-run models like the 911 GT3 RS at list price.

As a result, there is always a markup that has to be paid by the people who want to buy this vehicle without any allocation. Following this, he mentions that in Dubai, he was being asked to pay Rs 1.5 crore over the dealership cost of this vehicle, and for this premium price, he was not getting the specification that he wanted.
Jena highlights that he wanted a Racing Yellow 911 GT3 RS with yellow stitching, yellow dials, and other yellow details. However, the dealerships in Dubai, despite the premium, were not giving him his required spec. So he opted to buy it from Europe, where, after everything (selecting the spec) and shipping to Dubai, it cost him Rs 1.03 crore over the list price.
The entrepreneur also highlights that the 991.1 911 GT3 is more special because its production has now ended. His vehicle was part of the last batch of 911 GT3 RS. Also, he mentions that this is the last naturally aspirated Porsche GT3 RS, and from now on, they all will get hybrid and turbocharged engines. This particular model comes equipped with a 4.0-litre, flat-six, naturally aspirated motor, which makes 518 bhp and 465 Nm of torque.

As for the gearbox, it comes equipped with a PDK gearbox, and 0 to 100 kmph happens in under 3 seconds. What makes this particular GT3 RS even more special is that it has been opted with the Weissach package, which gives it additional options that make it lighter. This pack includes 20- and 21-inch magnesium forged wheels, a carbon-fiber roof, anti-roll bars, coupling rods, and a ton of other performance upgrades. Basically, this package is chosen by those who love to take their GT Porsche cars to the track, as it makes them lighter.
