Well, for the second consecutive month (May 2026), Tata Motors has managed to retain the second spot on the top-selling automakers list in India. Now, to make sure that it continues to remain in the same spot, the company is gearing up for the launch of a number of new models. So, without any delay, here are the details of the upcoming Tata Motors cars.

Tata Tigor Facelift - More features and better design

Tata Motors has recently given its affordable hatchback, the Tiago, a major facelift. Now, the company is gearing up for the launch of the facelifted iteration of the Tigor sub-compact sedan. Most likely, its launch could take place in the coming months. The updated Tigor is expected to receive a redesigned front grille, refreshed LED headlamps, sleeker DRLs, new alloy wheels, revised bumpers, and fresh colour options.

On the inside, it will most likely get a larger 10.25-inch infotainment system, a new steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, connected car technology, and additional premium features. Meanwhile, mechanically, it will continue to offer the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor makes 85 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The CNG version will also continue to be offered.

In addition to the Tigor facelift, the Tigor.ev is also expected to get a major facelift. Tata Motors will most likely launch it in the coming months. In terms of changes, it will borrow many updates from the recently launched Tiago.ev facelift. The electric sedan will continue to use the 26 kWh battery pack, which makes 74 bhp and 170 Nm of torque.

As for the range, it will offer a claimed range of 315 km. Its exterior updates could include revised bumpers, a refreshed front fascia, and slimmer LED DRLs. On the inside, Tata is expected to offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, six airbags, ESP, a 360-degree camera, and a new steering wheel design. Pricing is expected to start from around Rs 13 lakh.

Tata Sierra.ev - Tata’s next big EV launch

The most anticipated electric vehicle launch from Tata Motors is the Sierra.ev. It is expected to launch between July and September 2026. It will be positioned between the Curvv.ev and Harrier.ev. Once launched, it will rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, and Maruti e Vitara.

The Sierra.ev will be based on Tata’s new acti.ev+ architecture and will be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Reports have suggested that it could get 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack options. As for the range, the larger battery pack version could offer around 500 km of claimed range.

Its feature highlights will most likely include the same triple-screen dashboard, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, premium audio system, connected car technology, and ADAS as the standard ICE model. As for the pricing, it is expected to remain in the range of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.

Tata Safari.ev - Tata’s first electric 7-Seater SUV

Following the launch of the Sierra.ev, Tata Motors is expected to launch the Safari.ev during the festive season of 2026. It will become the company’s first three-row electric SUV and also the flagship model in Tata’s EV lineup.

The Safari.ev will share its platform and powertrain options with the Harrier.ev. It is expected to come with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs. Meanwhile, there are reports that have also suggested that a larger 80 kWh battery option could be offered later. As for the range, the SUV could offer a claimed driving range of around 550 to 600 km.

The lower variants of the Safari.ev are expected to feature rear-wheel drive, while higher variants could get dual-motor AWD technology. Meanwhile, the feature highlights will include Tata’s advanced TiDAL software architecture, OTA updates, a 540-degree camera, summon mode, auto-park assist, enhanced ADAS functions, and UPI-based in-car payment systems. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 22.5 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.

Tata Avinya X - Tata’s most Premium EV

Tata Motors is expected to enter the premium electric vehicle segment by the end of 2026 with its upcoming Avinya X. This futuristic SUV will be sold under Tata’s new Avinya sub-brand, which will be more focused on premium appeal. It will target buyers looking for a more premium EV experience. The Avinya X will feature a completely different design language compared to current Tata vehicles.

It will boast coupe-SUV styling, futuristic T-shaped LED lighting, flush surfaces, and a minimalist luxury-focused cabin. Its list of expected features will include large touchscreen displays, Level 2+ ADAS, ventilated and massaging seats, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, a premium audio system, and a 360-degree camera.

The SUV will be based on Tata’s new EMA platform and is expected to offer up to 500 km of range. Along with it, the company will also offer ultra-fast charging capabilities. Tata Motors is expected to price the Avinya X in the range of Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh.

Tata Punch Flex Fuel - Tata’s first flex-fuel SUV

The last car on this list is one of the most important launches from Tata Motors, and it will be the Punch Flex Fuel. It is expected to arrive by the end of 2026 or early 2027. This SUV will become Tata’s first flex-fuel vehicle and will come equipped with a modified version of the company’s 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine will support ethanol blends ranging from E20 to E100.

It has been reported that Tata Motors has equipped the vehicle with revised fuel injectors, corrosion-resistant fuel lines, ethanol sensors, and a recalibrated ECU. The Punch Flex Fuel will offer buyers a more environmentally friendly alternative. It will also retain the practicality of a conventional petrol-powered SUV.
